Comments about AKG M 80 MkII Semi-Open Studio Headphone:

These are a great deal for AKG quality.
They are very light (lighter than K240).
They fit and hold better than K240.
They seem more durable than K240.
But they don't sound quite as "open" or "transparent" as the mighty K240.

Comments about AKG M 80 MkII Semi-Open Studio Headphone:

I use this product mainly for tracking, however I also use them for reference when mixing. I've learned you really shouldn't mix with headphones so I decided spending 300 on a pair of studio headphones was unnecessary. I mix with nice monitors and use the headphones when laying dont guitar parts and vocals etc. These sound great for the price. I've listened to some of my favorite recordings through these and was very impressed with the sound. Definitely worth the money.
