I wanted a mic to A/B against my bandmates Sennheiser e835's. I use an EV nd/767a that works well with my timbre of voice, but at my pre- soundchecks, the differences were too great between the EV and Sennheiser. So, I needed an 'inexpensive mic' with a lot more highs to compare with their e835's. Seemed to work! And this is a good toolbox mic to have when someone else wants to guest mic: nothing like somebody's drool on your top-shelf mic.

This mic surprised me, I use a bunch of different mic's from Shure to Electro Voice or EV as they are sometimes called. This mic keeps up with those and surpasses some. I love the anti feedback characteristics of this mike in high level sound applications. for the money can't go wrong.
