About Peavey
Meridian, Mississippi based Peavey Electronics is one of the biggest audio equipment manufacturers in the world. Founded in 1957 by Hartley Peavey, it remains privately owned to this day. This American icon that started in Hartley's basement now has over 30 manufacturing facilities, 18 of which are located in Peavey's home state of Mississippi.
Peavey makes amps, electric instruments, acoustic instruments, pro audio gear, software, recording gear, speakers and accessories. With a variety of bass amps, keyboard amps, and over a dozen different lines of guitar amps, Peavey really has something for anybody. They even make pedal steel amps!
