Comments about Manhasset MH1300 Violin/Viola Holder:

So handy and easy to use. It makes it easy to practice several times a day without having to get the case out, lay it down, open it up, put the violin away, and put the case away. Just pick it up and play.

      Cool Little Violin Holder

Comments about Manhasset MH1300 Violin/Viola Holder:

The packaging came damaged but the device is ok. I bought this for my nephew along with the Manhasset Voyager music stand. We haven't tested it yet but it seems to be a useful piece of device where he can hang his violin when not in use. However, make sure you have a sturdy stand like a Manhasset, otherwise, your violin can topple to the floor if you just clip it to one of those light music stand. Overall, this is a quality violin holder.

Great! Takes some force, but great!

Comments about Manhasset MH1300 Violin/Viola Holder:

This does everything it says it does and its cheap too as long as you already have a good music stand. It is in a very convenient place and holds very nicely. The one problem though is just that the instructions aren't clear. You have apply quite a bit of force and leverage to pry the clips apart so that they can fit on the stand (especially if the stand you have has a thicker desk like Manhasset stands). In that case, you have to flip the little swinging adapter up (and it will cross over with the upper clips so that it seems like the clip is being blocked and it could never clip onto anything.) Then you have to really force the clips apart (it wont break) to make a gap that will securely hold onto the desk.
