A very sturdy bass stand for a fair price. Much sturdier than the Hamilton stand, but does not fold down as small. I use it for my bass in the living room with two little kids 3 and under in the house and do not worry about it getting tipped over. There is a specialty bass store in the area that uses these stands to display its brand new basses in their showroom. A nice feature is that the bottom supports are adjustable, so you can leave your endpin adjusted to your favorite setting and still rest it in the stand - this is great especially if you are playing a gig and switching instruments often.

I already had an Ingles violin stand and decided to splurge for the cello stand. I have not been disappointed. I was concerned about putting such a large instrument upright instead of laying on its side on the floor, but the cello stand is very secure, with a wide base. The cello sits in the cradle at a backward angle so I am not worried about it tipping forward. The hook for the bow is also very convenient. Although this stand does not collapse as small as a violin stand, that comes with the territory when playing and transporting a cello. Having the stand has made it very convenient to have the cello out and ready during the day for practice. I have been very happy with both Ingles stands and would definitely recommend them.
