These sticks are awesome. I used the Ralphies, only until I tried a pair of these. There is a better balance in the weight; to achieve this balance on the others, you have to tape the shoulder. Also, the round tip gives plenty of sound. Excellent!
my drumline uses these sticks. they are the best. the are semi-heavy and give the drum a crisp clear sound. I would recommend there to any snare player at any experience level.
These are my favorite sticks out there. I played with a pair of Hardimons and then a pair of Scott Johnsons, there is no comparison. You get such a full sound from these sticks! The only negative thing might be if you have small hands, accent tap stuff could be a little harder with the left hand if you're playing traditional because of the thickness.
This stick is one of the best out there. It is thick for the most hardcore drummer, yet has an excellent feel. it's medium taper allows for a little more weight on the head end, which can make you ache after a long session, however this is a very minor problem. these stick were priced very good, over 50% off, so I highly recommend these stick as well as Music123!
