Best pair of marching sticks i've used.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
I'm currently the captain of my drumline, and i give lessons as well. I've used silverfox, innovative percussion, Scott Johnson snare sticks, ScoJo's you name it, i've probably used it. This is my personal favorite pair of sticks. I love Ralph Hardimon sticks; easily Vic Firth's best set of corpsmaster sticks. 10 / 5 stars.

AWESOME STICKS!
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
These sticks are awesome! At first I was skeptical. But once I received them in the mail, they felt great. They have a good balance when playing. They last a very long time in whatever kind of music you play. The only problem that I had was the paint chipping off from doing rim shots. Just put some tape on it. That will fix your problem.

Unparalleled
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
These sticks are the most all-around marching sticks in the market. The round is ubelievable rapid, and (for wood tip sticks at least) make an articulate and consistent sound on the drum. Their white coating also makes visual effects much more effective. My only advice is to tape the top half of the shaft, because the white lacquer tends to fade after a while, and rim nicks ruin the white look of the stick.

Good sound, good weight, but not quite the best.
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
I have used the hardimons for 3 years, and although they are good quality sticks, make sure you tape them up, I got through a pair every other day if I don't. The drumline I'm on have used these since before I got on the line and they've always sounded awesome! I give hardimons credit, but if you want a real quality drumstick, go for the innovative percussion Paul Rennicks, you won't be disappointed!

very sturdy, strong, and thick
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
I got my Ralph Hardimon sticks and thought they were one of the neatest drum sticks I have ever seen. Complete with a personal signature, and a white coating that stands out from regular sticks, I knew these were going to be great drum sticks. These sticks are very sturdy and strong, which enables the drummer more control over the sticks. These are, in my opinion, some of the best marching drum sticks you can buy!

Nice Sticks, but there are better
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
My drumline marched these sticks my freshman and beginning of Sophomore years. The barrel tips make a nice bold sound and they have great rebound. However, our snare line barreled through a lot of them. These sticks splinter a lot and split really easily. One other thing is the fact they are pretty heavy even for marching sticks.

These sticks are crazy
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
We were given a pair of Ralphies during drumline. They are crazy I've beat the crap out of them for so many football games and they still are together(the indoors are awesome too).

Great Style
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
Yes, I am one of those people who is obsessed with marching percussion. I have tried many different pairs of sticks ranging from McNutts, DeLucia's, Johnson's, Casella, Hannum's, etc. From experiencing all of these different makes and models, tones, hand treatments, and weight differences, the Ralph's are the easiest to get the job done with. They are your classic marching stick. I am recommending these sticks (and some electrical tape...) to ANYONE who is interested in the style of marching percussion.ENJOY!!!

Just how I like it
Comments about Vic Firth Corpsmaster Ralph Hardimon Drumsticks:
These sticks are the first ones that I was introduced to. After using them I wanted to see what else Vic Firth had in the signature series. Throughout the past couple of years I have tried out many others. The Ralph's are by far the most correct stick that seem to fit my needs in the area of rudimental snare drumming; not to fat or skinny, and are also heavier than other marching sticks you might find, which allows you to experience full rebound of the stick and gain more control. I recommend these sticks (and some electrical tape...) to ANYONE who is interested in the style of rudimental drumming.
