I love these mallets! They're the best I've ever used. Great grip and great power to get that big boom. Although they break often I would still consider them the best.

I was a bit skeptical at first if these mallets would fit my liking, but after I got them I knew I would like them. Vic Firth once again has made a great mallet. I like how the end of the mallet gets larger for better grip and you can also do bass rolls with them unlike those square Ludwig mallets which you have to throw your arm into it.

I have used this brand of bass drum mallets for years, and they have consistently been my favorite. Though they are a bit heavier than aluminum mallets, they are sturdier and provide a great sound from any size bass drum. The range of sizes accomidates most ensembles, too.

I love these bass mallets. Even though I break about four a season, if I used any other kind, the number would double that. Not to mention the one pair that just won't break that I've had for about a year now.
