They amassed a collection of the most cherished amps and effects, then meticulously analyze every aspect of each. After years of tireless research Line 6 launched the world’s first digital modeling amp, the AxSys212, offering players dozens of classic tones and a complete arsenal effects.

The AxSys212 was enormously popular and just one year later Line 6 launched the next evolution in tone, the POD. The small desktop device went beyond just modeling of classic amps and allowed players to easily record killer guitar tone at any volume, in any space, with limited gear. It’s no surprise then that POD has been used on many platinum records and garnered a number of awards.

Line 6 has expanded their amps and effects collections, as well as started producing guitars, basses, software, wireless systems and more. They are able to offer musicians endless possibilities with lines like Flextone II, ToneCore, Vetta II and Variax.

Always seeking out new applications for their modeling technology, Line 6 is open to fresh ideas and exciting partnerships. In 2007, they even partnered with Reinhold Bogner to develop Spider Valve™ amplifiers. With Bogner they combined the versatility of modeling with the feel of a world-class tube amp.
