Real piano feel and sound in a portable solution.

Williams digital pianos have been crafted for musicians and music enthusiasts who want the look, feel and sound of a fine acoustic piano, combined with the amazing range of effects and other features that only a digital piano can offer.

The Williams Allegro follows closely to this tradition with 88 hammer-action, velocity-sensitive keys that provide you with the realistic touch and feel of a full-scale piano in an affordable, portable solution. The Allegro is a great fit for both beginners and pros, with 64-note polyphony and eight different piano and keyboard sounds at a price that will fit into any budget. An advantage of a digital piano versus an acoustic one is its features, and with the Allegro you get a built-in metronome with variable tempos, multiple demo songs corresponding to each voice, MIDI in/out connections so you can connect it with your favorite DAW, stereo/mono line outputs to hook up to monitors or speakers, a sustain pedal, music rest, and a two-track recorder that allows you to record songs and play them back right from the piano. Your friends and family will appreciate the remarkable acoustic sound and feel of the Allegro, and all at a great price.

Comments about Williams Allegro 88-Key Digital Piano:

With certain types of music, this is a good instrument. Other than that, I'd prefer playing my out of tune piano than this instrument. Because I live in an apartment, I needed something that I could play in the middle of the night, and this fit the bill at the price. But, with headphones on, it sounds even more tinny and electronic than other electronic keyboards. I wish I had saved up just a bit more money and bought the Yamaha, which I have known and trusted for their quality instruments.

Comments about Williams Allegro 88-Key Digital Piano:

I wanted something decent to play on without spending a small fortune and the Allegro works great for me. It offers enough features, including MIDI, 88 keys, R/L outputs and fairly realistic sounds. It seems well built and overall I'd say it's a good unit for the livingroom or small studio. It plays good and sounds good too, but of course it sounds the best when run through a good amp or PA. I've had mine for about a year now and I'm still happy with it.

Comments about Williams Allegro 88-Key Digital Piano:

As a professional musician for 34 years, I can honestly say that this is an excellent board for the money. I have owned it for over 2 months, and while the action is a bit heavy and not really graded, it is built very well for my playing style. I have always beat the living daylights out of my Rolands, Kurzweils, and Casios.... literally... and at some point in their life they usually start dropping keys on me. Casio doesn't hold up to the aggressive pounding very well, but I have had better luck out of Kurzweil, and Roland is okay but for what they charge for their products, they should be built way better. This Williams Allegro has held its own as a practice piano at the house. The samples could be a bit better but they do sound much better through an amp or sound system, and when you layer a couple of sounds it grows on you. Don't expect awesome sounding stereo grand samples. I didn't buy it for that though, and it serves it's purpose well. I wouldn't be afraid to use it for live church settings; or anywhere you will not have move it around very much, because of the untested road worthiness. Other than that, for a 64 note polyphony, full size 88-key hammer-action board.... it as good as ANY of it's peers in this range.
