Makes a versatile mini PA too!
The Roland CM-30 Cube Monitor delivers 30W of audio punch through a rugged, high-quality 6.5" coaxial 2-way speaker with stereo preamp. The CM-30 is designed for home-studio and wide-ranging monitoring applications, but it can be used for live monitoring onstage as well.
The Roland CM-30 monitor speaker offers more than enough inputs to simultaneously connect a microphone, a keyboard, a rhythm machine, and a CD player, or to function as a mini-PA rig. It's equipped with 3 input channels, with one XLR mic/line input and 2 additional AUX RCA and stereo mini-phone inputs, making a total of 5 simultaneous inputs possible (4 stereo and one mono input). The Stereo Link function allows 2 CM-30s to be linked for true stereo output, which enables a total of 10 inputs.
Sound can be further refined with the Roland speaker's onboard 2-band equalizer. As with all other controls, the EQ knobs are conveniently located on the front panel for quick access.
The Roland CM-30 can be easily and safely toted from location to location thanks to its built-in handle grip, protective metal grille cover, and cabinet corner protectors. Other handy features include a stereo headphone jack and mic stand adapter.

BETTER THAN EXPECTED
Comments about Roland CM-30 Cube Monitor:
I got this to use as a small PA for guitar and vocals in small dinner house and coffee house settings. I wanted something easy to carry in also. The sound is crystal clear with no coloration.
Acoustic guitar with pickup and a Telecaster with a Vocal mic. Easily gets 100db plus. I put a reverb pedal in front of the guitar. It also boosts the volume a bit. I have a small mixer with effects also that is perfect for this if you want some effects. For the money and the amount of inputs and outputs this is Roland amazing.

Mighty and versatile.
Comments about Roland CM-30 Cube Monitor:
My band has four of these, and I have one extra. These are the best mike stand monitors I've ever heard. The variety of input/output options allows you to link two of them together. The volume and clarity are amazing. They are hefty and well-built. I'd advise following the directions and keeping them on a tripod-type mic stand, no higher than 48 inches or so off the ground. (To keep the center of gravity low. Avoid tip-over)There is a standard threaded mic stand flange on the bottom. We've all added one of the quick-disconnect stand adaptors, to make it easier to set up and take down. The monitor's tone controls are a great feature, as are the independant volume controls for the input channels. I've used my two monitors as mobile speakers for dubbing and mixing with my laptop. Very full range. Two of these with a powered subwoofer would make a great mini studio rig. Super performance. Best features, appearance and value for the price.
