Comments about iConnectivity Mio 1x1 USB MIDI Interface:

Great little product here. I needed something straightforward: just wanted to get a MIDI stream from my keyboard into a USB port, but without a lot of desk-cluttering outboard hardware. Since this is basically just an in-line cable adapter, it fit the bill. What's also great is that, as others have indicated, it doesn't require proprietary drivers. --Which is not to say that it doesn't need drivers at all; any piece of hardware requires drivers. But the native, generic drivers already included in Windows are all this little guy needs. So you just plug it in, wait for Windows to do its "Found new hardware" routine, and then it's ready to go. Couldn't be simpler.

It will replace the interface that required a driver.
