Ibanez AEG10E Acoustic-Electric

By SCHRAARON

from Undisclosed

Comments about Ibanez AEG10E Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Wonderful all around guitar; mine tends to get alot of traffic and still plays wonderfully!! The fretboard is very smooth, plays very easy, and is an optimal thickness for an acoustic. The guitar sounds wonderful and has a very deep tone quality without being muddy; perfect for newer music such as Lifehouse and The Fray.

The only problem I have found is the guitar does not hold tune well. Needs to be tuned slightly every 7-8 songs, otherwise sounds a little gritty.

All in all, high quality, well playing guitar. I highly recomend it.

Great Quality For The Price

By Michael Cain

from Elyria, OH

Comments about Ibanez AEG10E Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I primarily play my guitar at home unplugged or into a Korg PX4D as a preamp, and eitherway it sounds great. right out of the box it sounded good, but I would recommend a better set of strings. I use inexpensive Martin strings and it really sounds great. I play in church whenever I can and other players who have tried out my guitar have commented on it's even tone and good playability. I have thought about making slight adjustments to bring the strings a little closer to the fretboard, but after careful consideration and checking out more expensive guitars, I found out it plays as well if not better than guitars costing twice as much. Because of it's thin body it doesn't have a lot of bottom end when unplugged, but that is to be expected. If you want a good quality guitar for not alot of money, or a good student guitar, or one that could be used live or in the studio, this guitar is what you're looking for.

Great Sound, Great Value

By Chuck Mathieu

from South Bay, California

Comments about Ibanez AEG10E Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I play professionally on my Taylor 514CE. I tested this guitar for a student of mine and was totally impressed. It's clear, clean, tuner is wonderful. Great workmanship. The neck is a nice size for small hands but still accommodates those with large fingers. The action is close to the neck and easy enough for new students. Most will be able to afford this guitar and will keep playing it as they improve. I'm buying one for myself as a back-up and road guitar for my casual bar and coffee house gigs. Good job Ibanez!

Great starter guitar

By Dennis-_hkoB

Comments about Ibanez AEG10E Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

One thing is for sure, most people would look at its size and not think much but once you start playing it, especailly when hooked up to an amp, it sounds wonderful. It is reasonably priced for the quality materials its made of. If you want a guitar to learn on, and keep learning on it, this is the one.

Sounds So Sweet

By Rayne

from Austin, TX

Comments about Ibanez AEG10E Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

The moment I started playing this instrument, I loved it. It's lightweight, slim body fits me perfect, and I love the fact that it has a built in tuner. (great for gigs) It has a great tone and is reasonalbly priced. The mother-of-perl looks great with a black glossy backing. A+ It sounded even better when I plugged it in. By the way, I am a female singer/songwriter, and am recording my first album, currently. Email me if you want to jam in the Austin area!!!!

Wow, you should play it first.

Comments about Ibanez AEG10E Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought this on-line after looking at the reviews and knowing Ibanez to be a good company (I owned an electric.) It is a little thinner than other guitars but has wonderful sound. I've had it now for about 8 months and it is still amazing. I let friends who have $1400 Takamines, $1200 Ovations, and other guitars play it and they are all blown away by the clarity and projection this guitar has. Elixers have incredible sound on it as well.
