Comments about VocoPro UHF-8800 8-Channel Wireless Microphone System:
My small comedy group bought this set and some matching headset/body pack units also from VocoPro to reduce issues with trying to mic stage areas that can change drastically from show to show. We've used it a couple of times now, and it works great. The sound is clear, range of the units is good and a set of alkaline batteries gets us through a 2 hour show. (We always use fresh batteries for each show, and haven't had one die yet). There are more expensive systems out there that may be better, but we could afford these on our budget, and they have improved our shows immensely. We spent months trying to figure out our sound, we should have just started with these mics.
