Yamama continues to make a quality instrument....I am an instructer and have recomended many guitars to my students.This Pacifica is beyond entry level...I have owned 78 guitars in my life from very pricey to student models...this is as solid as any. Thanks to Yamaha.

I got mine at Guitar Center,I do Own a Fender Tele and a Strat, and also have a few Yamaha Acoustic's, I would NOT Trade for the world, Have been using them for over 20 yrs,But This is a Jem!! I not to hip with the Trem, I like my Hard Tails, But for the $ This is a Great Guitar and YES I Have used it on stage,I Play Rock,Reggae,Jazz and Latin,And tone for tone It WILL Stand up To A Strat!
