Comments about Traveler Guitar Ultra-Light Acoustic-Electric Travel Guitar:
I travel all week to NYC. and stay in a hotel when there, yet gig on the weekend and need a way to practice. I picked up the traveler and after getting accustom to it which took about ten minutes, I would say it is one of the finest guitars in my guitar collection. I also have a Taylor Acoustic, Les Paul Standard and early 80's Fender Strat standard, plus a few more. The guitar is very light but with a strap on feels very comfortable. This guitar is mean for an amp or with headphones though as there is not enough of a body to produce much sound stand alone. The neck feels great, hand moves effortlessly across what feels to be a well made piece of wood. The fretboard is responsive, but note, it has the action of an acoustic. Once pluged in though, I was amazed at how well it sounded acoustic as well with distortion. The only thing that is missing, or I have not been able to find it yet is a volume knob. Overall a great guitar to travel with, but I might even bring to gigs because I could easily see using it to start a song that has an acoustic front end and then go to electric.
