The Taylor GA8 Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar has traditional styling that creates an elegant, understated look. The clarity, balance, sustain, excellent bass response, and wonderful coloration and figure of the India Rosewood used on this instrument is without equal. Paired with Sitka spruce, it is an unstoppable combination. Other features of the GA8 include; an ivoroid bound neck, heel, and body, gold-plated tuners, an Indian rosewood headstock overlay, and a beautiful abalone rosette.
The Grand Auditorium is Taylor's most versatile and popular body style, excelling at light touch fingerstyle to full blown strumming. Great for miking and recording, the GA8 guitar's balanced mid-range and bright tone exemplify the Taylor voice.

Comments about Taylor GA8 Grand Auditorium Acoustic Guitar:
The Taylor GA 8 is by far one of the best guitars I have ever played. It has a tone of its own and every note rings so clear. I play fingerstyle and this guitar fits that style very well. I also flatpick and it serves well for that too. I am not a heavy strummer, that is what I use my dread for. I always thought that high priced guitars were just that high priced and I never could afford them. My first Taylor was a DN3 which sounded so much better than any of my higher priced guitars. But the GA 8 sounds even better that the DN3. I was told by a local music shop that Taylors bolt on neck design was a cheap way to build guitars and it affected the sound. I have to disagree!!!! Their bolt on neck design is the way to go. I have had a few acoustics that I had to let go cheap becasue the neck could not be reset without a wallet full of cash. Not a problem with the Taylor.
If you want an easy playing, wonderful sounding and a great looking guitar you can't go wrong with this one!!!
