Amazing guitar

Comments about Taylor 414-CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (2011 Model):

I played probably 100 guitars while looking for one, and this one caught my attention. The sound that it produces is just breath-taking, and its playability is amazing. I do not have to try to play this guitar. The resonance from the GA body stands out in any situation I have played and everyone has complemented on my guitar. Its looks and its sound!

Just breathtaking tone and playability

By

from Elkridge, MD

Comments about Taylor 414-CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (2011 Model):

The nicest acoustic i have ever played; and i get to own it. I have owned Gibson's, Martin's, and the rest of the lot, and they just can't compare. Taylor in general is making amazing instruments for a steal when you consider the value. Price and play an entry level Gibson at the same price, then try this guitar. You'll be amazed.

A Solid Workhorse Guitar

Comments about Taylor 414-CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (2011 Model):

A solid workhorse acoustic. Typical awesome Taylor tone and playability. Mine is a 2003 and has a solid Sitka top, solid rosewood sides, a solid three piece rosewood back and the expression system pickup. This was part of a special edition of 441 which Taylor made that year. Except for the fancy fru-fru inlays, there is no appreciable difference between this and the more expensive 814ce. Tone and playability are nearly identical. A great sounding and playing guitar that is a welcome addition to my cedar and mahogany 514ce. Great for fingerstyle and medium strumming. If you strum like you're killing rats then get a dread.

Awesome Guitar

By

from OC, CA

Comments about Taylor 414-CE Grand Auditorium Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar (2011 Model):

I have been chopping away on acoustics for about 12 years (I own a Takamine and an Alvarez)and this is instrument is by far one of the best fingerstyle guitars I've ever played. The overall tone is incredible and of course, being a Taylor, it is incredibly playable (addictingly). The expression system is remarkable. I run the TRS connector into my Carvin AG100 Acoustic amp and just melt from the tone.
