The Takamine EF37 Dreadnought Special Koa Acoustic-Electric Guitar comes with a solid spruce top for big, resonant tone. The solid koa back and sides exhibit the stunning vivid grain patterning that characterizes koa wood. Throughout, the premium woods shine through the instrument's natural finish.
The cutaway body is wedded to the solid spruce top and reinforced with scalloped X bracing. A mahogany neck meets the flame maple body in a heel cap joint. Luxurious flame maple also decks out neck and peghead binding, and abalone shines in snowflake inlays in the ebony fretboard and peghead logo.
20 nickel silver frets, 1-3/4" nut width, 25-3/8" scale length, snowflake rosette, tortoise pickguard, gold open gear tuners, and a rosewood peghead face.
The TLD line driver electronics provide a line-out endpin jack to connect to any amplifier or sound system without any obtrusive control panels to compromise the guitar's amazing looks. Made in Japan.
