As soon as this guitar came out the case I was in love with it. It looks fab, sounds wonderful, and is surprisingly small. The onboard tuner is a lovely little feature, and it plays wonderfully. Also, Music123.com were excellent. I am a Uk resident, and the item and carry case (also Takamine - again beautifully crafted) arrived within 5 days. Shipping was reasonably, and the service from Music123.com was first class. I was very impressed.

Takamine ef341sc

By Matthew Baker

from clearwater florida

Comments about Takamine EF341SC Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

There is nothing that can be said about this guitar other than that is phenomenal! The guitar has an unmatchable tone that dominates even the most expensive taylors and martins. The guitar is a no-brainer steal! From personal experience in building guitars, I prefer this guitar better than any custom built guitar ive played. The guitar has the fastest neck of any acoustic ive played, i own a les paul standard and prefer to play this guitar when playing electric guitar licks. The takamine ef341 has the most versatile sound of any guitar, it can do anything from finger-picking to hard strumming. The guitar even features a onboard tuner, i would have to say that it is a must have! The guitar holds another surprise, perhaps the best pickup system i have ever used. Overall the guitar has a quality feel that has never been matched by any acoustic Ive played. Try one out!

So good, I've bought 2

Comments about Takamine EF341SC Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I bought one of these in Tennessee and I loved it! Unfortunately someone else loved it just as much, so they stole it. But it was a good enough guitar for me to buy another one and they ain't cheap. Great action and playability. It sounds great plugged in, and good enough unplugged. There's no doubt why a lot of performers use this guitar.

Black Magic

By Chris-2zKZh

Comments about Takamine EF341SC Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

My experience with Music123 was wonderful and Lance was very helpful. I recently purchased the Takamine EF341SC and received a EF341SCX which includes the CT-4BII preamp with integrated tuner. The interior and exterior of the guitar case is black. The guitar was ordered on a Saturday and was received 10 later. (free shipping) I love this guitar, but did find the action was set a little low with some ringing around the 3rd fret on the E A and D strings. I hope to solve this by changing out the light strings for some medium gauge. I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I find the sound and feel of this guitar are exceptional.

EXCEPTIONAL GUITAR

By Domenico Tubiolo

from Misilmeri, Italy

Comments about Takamine EF341SC Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

First of all I would want to make compliments to Music123. I have ordered to the guitar on 2 December and I've received, in Sicily - Palermo, 7 December. Although the guitar was one 'out of box', paid to 692 $, I cannot find any defects. Compliments to Music123. The guitar sounds awesome, plugged and unplugged. Exceptional, a true deal. I have never played anything similar.

Incredible beautiful sound

By Suse

from UK

Comments about Takamine EF341SC Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I am absolutely delighted with it. It has an incredible tone and presence. It is hard to put down. This is my third guitar. After starting out on a basic cheap guitar, I got a Takamine EG530SC, which is v.v. nice. But this is in a different league completely, as befitting a Takamine from its professional F series. It is really sensitive sound wise, and produces an astonishing range of colors in its tone. It also has a fantastic, full bodied resonance. If it were stolen, I would go round the globe several times to track down another one! (After torturing the thief!). If you're looking in this price range, you won't get more for your money because it really does sound in a higher price bracket. Someone earlier said it sings like a harp - they are spot on.

Same CT-4B electronics on my EF341SCX

By Dan Weeks

from York, PA USA

Comments about Takamine EF341SC Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I too found out when I checked on my recently purchased EF341SCX instrument that it came through with the CT-4B electronics and not the Graph-EX that was called out on the Takamine site. When I checked with Takamine's customer service I found out that the "X" at the end of the model listing means that the electronics were installed at the distributor rather than the factory. In my case this was Kaman Music Corporation. Bottom line is this guitar is a beautiful looking and sounding piece of workmanship that I absolutely love!

Great guitar, great website to buy it from

By Gary Schrader

from Stillwater, OK

Comments about Takamine EF341SC Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I looked at a countless number of guitars in the $500-$1000 price range before settling on this one. Now that I've got it, I am confident that it was an awesome decision. When researching this guitar, I was at first a little confused by the product description on the music123 website. It said that the EF341SC came with CT-4B electronics, while the Takamine website showed that the guitar has the Graph-EX preamp. If anyone else has noticed this discrepancy I thought I would mention that when I got my guitar, the label actually called it a model EF341SCX. It has the solid cedar top and maple back and sides like the basic SC, but also does have the CT-4B, with the onboard tuner. Hope that helps anyone else who picked up on the inconsistency. As for the guitar itself, it does sound great, unplugged or amplified. Every other review is right on the money. It's easy to play and is definitely an all around great guitar. I also have to commend Music123 on the excellent customer service. I ordered my guitar on a Saturday evening and had it on Wednesday. It came well-packed and in perfect condition.
