Great guitar, great price
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
I upgraded to the C132-s when I began studying classical guitar seriously on the college level. I bought it without ever playing it (not the best idea) but have never regretted the purchase. The tone and projection are fantastic, though the intonation does drift a little past the ninth fret. Takamine has made one of the best student level guitars around. I want to upgrade to a concert level guitar but can't bring myself to stop playing the 132-s!

A wonderful classical guitar!
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
I own a C132s from 1979 and I still play it. It is just a beautiful sounding classic guitar. I use Savarez Mixed tension strings to bring out the high tones and it sounds wonderful!

Excellent Quality Guitar
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
I've been playing for over 18 years and I wanted to upgrade from an old Yamaha CF-100A. I'm overjoyed with the quality and tone from the Takamine C132S. Its simply a beautiful instrument! My only regret is that I didn't buy one sooner. Little known fact that this guitar has a limited lifetime warranty.

an all around perfect guitar
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
I think that the c132s Takamine classical acoustic guitar is one of the best I have owned. The solid cedar top makes the sound protrude with maximum capacity. I love the rosewood back and sides. I think this is the greatest classical I've ever played.

A superb concert instrument!
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
Last year I purchase a Takamine C132-S. I have owned many fine and expensive instruments over the years of my musical career! From the moment I played that C132-S I know that I had indeed found a beautiful and perhaps a once in a lifetime instrument! Over the past thirty years I only played two instruments that I consider to be exceptional in all respects and my C132-S is one of those two! It is a finely crafted instrument with a precision fret board and wonderful action! The woods are superb and the instrument projects like no other I have ever played or heard during concerts! I use Savarez 520 P3 strings on this instrument which really compliment this guitar! Thank you Takamine.

A well balanced sound
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
This unadorned guitar is worth more than it sells for! It has a luxurious tone that is well balanced with a hint of reverb type resonance. It is easy to play, it projects its sound well and it has a truss rod in the neck what else can you ask for? My 1990 c132s has matured and opened up in tone so nicely! If you play classical or jazz this guitar will do the job!

Very good warm rich sound ! Best-Value for money ...
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
This is an amazing guitar. It has the same sound and wood as the EC132SC and CD132SC (valued @ $1,300) but without the electronics. It has a solid cedar Top and a rosewood back, plus it has a metal rod under the fingerboard to support the neck. Rich warm sound, good volume and sustain. Its low action fingerboard makes it very easy and fast to play. It has good quality gold-classic tuners and finally the wood just looks great. Overall, a great value, solid top, warm sound and highly recommended.

A very solid, sturdy & beautiful guitar.
Comments about Takamine Concert Classic 132S Acoustic Guitar:
It is a beauty to look at, to hold and-- especially--to play, with rich, full sounds and no distortion. My Takamine must endure a very hot, humid climate on the coast, and it has held up amazingly well. I strongly recommend this instrument to anyone serious about taking up the guitar.
