The Steinberger Synapse SS-2F Electric Guitar uses cybrosonic technology to combine the rigidity, strength, clarity, and definition of graphite with the warmth and beauty of wood. The 3-piece hard maple neck has a graphite U-channel and truss rod producing an adjustable neck that's extremely stable.
Low-impedance EMG USA humbuckers offer a broader bandwidth for unique and robust tone and are mounted on stabilizers that keep them from tilting.
Improved intonation from a zero fret. Unique Steinberger Combo headpiece improves balance, ease of tuning, and tuning stability while the patented Direct-Drive double-ball bridge lets you change strings in seconds then tune up once and not have to tune again until you change strings.
Fold down leg rest and strap hook provide comfort standing or sitting.

When I received this guitar, I was pleasantly surprised by the seriousness of the construction. The neck is very nice (gibson style neck). It is not just a travel guitar but a very good guitar to use in any circumstance. Ease of tuning, mechanical quality, very small, great sound ... I would also like to thank Music123 for his professionalism ! I live in Belgium, the guitar arrived after 7 days very well packed and in excellent condition.

i own an ibanez js1200 and bought this guy for a backup guitar while playing out and for alternate tunings. this thing tunes like a dream, it plays so easily. and to all the steinberger haters out there, you all should try this one out, it will give your favs a run for their money. its priced fairly and sounds absolutely great. totally recommend.

This was not the first time I've held a Steinberger in my hands. I've owned and played over a dozen different models over the years. I particularly enjoyed the playability of the guitar. Easy to tune, easy to maneuver and I can't wait until I travel with it! ...Thats a switch!!!

I purchased this guitar the other week and have immensely enjoyed it. The size is perfect for anyone looking for a travel guitar or just wanting to look extremely cool on the stage! The only downside with this guitar is that for just a few hundred more you could by the Steinberger ST-2FPA trans-scale guitar. Love the gig bag on all the Synapse models! Very well constructed and easy to use. Very protective! Much better than what you will find the Steinberger Spirit models have. The Steinberger SS2F is a fantastic guitar, and I would recommend it to anyone!
