A captivating finish and extended range neck.

Squier presents one of its most distinctive instruments ever in the deeply resounding form of the Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster. Tuned A to A and featuring a 30" scale length, it lends a rumbling baritone register of notes.

This Jazzmaster features the authentic vintage-style look of Fenders seldom-seen Antigua finish, with a matching pickguard. Fingerboard binding and white pearloid block inlays impart even more elegance and that deep one-of-a kind twang rocks loud and clear from a pair of Dual Duncan Designed single-coil Jazzmaster pickups.

Explore new depths with vibe that is as affordable as it is striking. All together, the Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster makes for a singularly exciting Squier playing experience. Case sold separately.

Comments about Squier Vintage Modified Baritone Jazzmaster Electric Guitar:

I ordered this on Thirsday and it arrived on Monday. I ordered it with a set of Earnie Ball silhouette short scale bass strings and tuned this like a bass VI, e to e 1 octave lower than an electric guitar. I had to ream the hole in the bridge for the low e string to make the string fit, but I now have a bass VI type instrument with a fixed bridge.

This sounds like a really hot jazz bass with these strings. I'm very happy with it.

The but is very soft and sloppily cut. I'm also not a fan of the bridge squier used as its only held in place with one screw. I wish they had used a tune o matic style or even a hard tail strat bridge instead. Oh well.

I'm very impressed with the sound and playability of the instrument. It holds tune very well, even with brand new strings on it.
