Comments about Squier Mini Strat Electric Guitar:

I bought this used, and discounted, because it had a crack in the bottom of the guitar. I put a Pony sticker on it and plan to give it to my 5 year old daughter for Christmas. I also plan to put some 8's on it and set the action as low as possible. As it is, it's tiny, like a large Ukulele but fun to play! The pickups are high output ceramic pickups with small pots and an electronic switch. I like the way they sound and can easily change this, if she evolves to the point where that matters or this fails. I love the way it sounds, I love the play-ability. I believe 9's are on there now. The action is a bit higher than I'd like, but she will love this guitar. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who wants a portable guitar, has a child they want to give this guitar to, or is very small. I'm six feet and large hands. No problems playing this guitar whatsoever. If she doesn't want to play it, I will. I'm not crazy about the pink but, I'm married and have a kid -- why would I care? I'd gig with it if only to stand out and probably could gig with it. It's fun.

Comments about Squier Mini Strat Electric Guitar:

Sounds as good as the regular size, but Ihad to file the fret bars, stuck up above and down below the neck, and would slice your finger.
After filing fret bars and doing setup, it plays great.
Itake it when playing concerts because if the low price incase someone might take it and was not seen.
