Nice Vibe

By Seth Komitzky

from Undisclosed

Comments about Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar for the vibe. The look is unlike any other offering. The Mahogany body is beautiful. I added an ashtray bridge cover. These two items with the semi-hollow body start you on the way to a truly unique sound (see my additional upgrade below). I was surprised to find the weight nice and light and the neck is a joy to play. I was thinking about building a Tele ... but when I saw and played this model, I knew I could not do better with a kit, after market parts or project Telecaster from eBay ... me being the weak link. The electronics are/were OK ... but I always intended on an upgrade. I put Lindy Fralin split-blades in and now this guitar sounds as good as it looks and plays. Even without the pick-up upgrade this guitar was well worth the price and better than most in its price range ... that I have played anyway. With the upgrades ... it is one of my favorites.

Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar

By Rick Roberts

Comments about Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar:

Its been four months since I first recieved my Squier. I can not believe no one else has written a review yet. I must say I am still having fun I did not mention in my first review about the tuners. You can bend the strings off the fretboard and it holds. Got to love that. Feather weight and still has great sustain. I am playing this one through a Boss ME25 pedal now. Great match up for both items. This guitar has become my primary axe right now. I hardly take the others out of thier cases. If you haven't tried one out you should. You may find yourself as impressed with this guitar as I was. I only wished that I would have found this guitar sooner. I would have saved myself a lot of money. I proably would have stopped right here with this one. Now I know why the Tele's have defined the sound of music in Country and Rock and Roll for decades. These guitars are work horses. If you look at a lot of praise bands today. The guitarist are playing the Thinline Fenders. I believe this Squier model fits right in there with them all. In my world its "still the one."

Plays like butter

By Rick Roberts

from Mims, Fl.

Comments about Squier Classic Vibe Telecaster Thinline Electric Guitar:

I was saving my money to purchase a Fender Thinline Telecaster. I had tried out the Squier Thinline Shoreline gold moldel and did not care for the Duncan pickup's. However I did like the neck on the guitar and gave it serious thought. After many trips to the local music store and playing about everything Fender had in my price range. I saw this Model online. The looks just blew me away. The natural Mahogany body with the maple neck is just beautiful. The pearliod pickguard jumps out on this one.. Sweet. The contrast between the two are just made in heaven Now back to the pickups. This model has 2 Custom single-coil Tele pickups with AlNiCo V magnets. This made my head turn. Got it last Friday plugged it in and the rest is music history for me. This thing plays like butter and the pickup's will growl when needed. This guitar is so light I can hardly feel it. You could play for hours with this one on your shoulders. I can't put it down. The neck is just perfect for me. I looked at the back of the neck, you know where they print where the guitar is made. We all know this one is made in China. However printed on the neck is , "Crafted in China". I have to say Squier and its China Division has upped the game for everyone with these new "Classic Vibe Models" Good looks make for a great stage presence. I recieved many good compliments from my band members and other people. To include my wife who says I have too many guitars already. She says its the most beautiful guitar I own. Way to go Squier for making a great and affordable Telecaster guitar. This baby will go on stage with me for many years to come. I got to believe I won't be the only one playing this Thinline model. Proud to say I own and play a Squier Guitar. As usual Music123 shipped it to me fast. No problems.
