Explore new tonal territory.

Not a guitar, bass, or even a baritone in today's terms, the Hellcat VI (six!) is designed to be an improvement of the 6-string bass instrument of the early 1960s. With a 30" scale, the Hellcat VI is standard tuned, but one octave below a normal guitar. String gauges range from .025 to .095 Duncan-Designed MH-102 mini-humbuckers produce a brighter tone than full-sized humbuckers and are coil-splittable for single-coil sounds.

Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Hellcat VI Electric Guitar:

It's not a guitar or a bass, though it fulfills both uses. Similar to a Fender Bass VI, though with modern refinements such as humbuckers with coil tap. A most versatile instrument that can be used for low guitar tracks and even progressive bass lines. Get one and use your creative energy to find a new outlet for expression!
