This guitar is amazing. Dosent matter what playing level your at. The harmonics have great sustain. The pick ups could be better. The wammy is good and it dosent it dosent take hours to tune which is good. If your looking for a guitar i reamend this one dosent matter what style of music you play its great.
Okay, so first off, this thing is amazing. I went to buy this thing, and I played a Jackson before I played this. It was alright at best, and it had EMG active 81/85's on it. Yeah. So I decided to try out a guitar with passive pickups, because I figured if I liked passives, than I could get a guitar I liked a lot more for a lot less. This thing caught my eye. Here are a couple reasons why: Finish: Okay, black finish...mediocre right? Wrong. This thing is satin black, which basically means they didn't buff it, so its not shiny. Absolutely beautiful. Pickups: I was actually accidently doing pinch harmonics until I got used the serious sensitivity and amazing strong but quiet sound of these things. In my opinion they are better than the actives. Tremelo: Eh...Floyd Rose LISCENSED. Wrong inmpression again. This thing won't throw you out of tune if you set the guitar up right in the first place. One thing, when tuning the guitar, tune sharp a little bit because when you do your first dive bomb it flattens all the strings a little bit, then after the first bend it wont change the pitch for a life time. Action/Neck Playability: I only have one word to describe it. Delightful. Fast, smooth, thin, and low action right out of the store. Plus the twenty four frets and the double cut-away are always good. Lastly, the Inlays. They're actually not that corny. They are pretty sweet. Final Thought: BUY IT!
This guitar is completely incredible. The pickups and the tremolo are excellent. The neck is very smooth which allows for fast movement. The pickups allow for a nice clean sound, and aggressive metal riffs - this guitar can do it all. I had a damien 6 with emgs, but they didn't sound good at all. This guitar is best in the damien lineup for heavy and melodic sounds. I recommend this guitar to anyone and everyone.
Haha, I love this guitar. Don't be fooled by the passive pickups, they go from super mellow to screeching loud. The Tremolo is awesome. The bat inlays are sweet and 24 frets is wonderful!
What can I say, this guitar was made to shred. Its my second guitar next to a court Hiram Bullock signature and it doesn't even compare. The neck is smooth and amazingly fast, the inlays are top notch, the satin lack finish is perfect, and what can I say about the Floyd rose and the EMG's. It is a real soloing guitar. This guitar is a monster. Get one if you can!!!!
What can you say about this guitar other than it is a beast. The Floyd rose and pick ups on the FR give it a mean crunching sound, and for the price, you can't beat the quality.
Hello all. I played this guitar at a local store with a peavey xxx. The neck feels fast, the shape of the body is way comfortable either you play standing or sitting, the pickups are really nice and can provide a nice variety of sounds, the floyd rose is really good and the access to the uper frets is easy. I believe that with a set of 81 and 85 emg's would be on the best guitars at it's price. Suggested for all kind of players. You should certainly give it a try! It's really worth it!!!
The guitar is really good it has nice pups, has great floyd rose, andt the inlays are really nice
For the price this guitar is great. The neck is fast and the EMG HZ pickups give it a very good crunch and a warm clean sound. If you're looking for a good axe at at good price, this is for you.
