A retro-modern axe with custom touches and smooth playability.
The Corsair is Schecter's take on the classic semi-hollowbody electric guitar and a neo-vintage six-string that rules for rock. Its three-piece mahogany neck is shaped to deliver comfortable, effortless play with an ebony fingerboard and 22 medium frets. The semi-hollow maple body is fixed with two Duncan Designed humbuckers (with coil splitting) that whisper and wail with plenty of firepower. Rock-solid Gotoh tuners keep you in tune.

Never thought I'd like electric until I played this
Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Corsair Electric Guitar:
Until the last couple weeks, I've been an acoustic only guy. I have a Epiphone Chet Atkins SST Studio that I love and that gives me a great acoustic sound. I thought I would never need anything else. I'd played electric before - just never really liked the sound or feel of my brother's strat or Gibson SG. Then my friend told me about this Schecter and I had to try it. I'm glad I did! This guitar is amazing! The Duncan Designed humbuckers sound so sweet, and you can also change either into single-coil right on the guitar, allowing you to achieve a ton of different sounds. This guitar can handle it all, from mellow, bluesy stuff to harder, distorted rock and punk. Really the only thing this guitar can't do is play metal, which isn't my thing anyway. The Bigsby tremolo is very high quality - I'll never use a normal wammy-bar again. This guitar cannot be beat for the money.

nice quality all around
Comments about Schecter Guitar Research Corsair Electric Guitar:
A mighty impressive 335 copy. As you would expect from Schecter...the quality is great throughout. The neck is fast...pretty much identical in feel to my epi dot. Pickups are good sounding...not as bluesy as the epi dot, but very nice. Good sustain.
