Comments about Schecter Guitar Research 2011 Tempest Standard Electric Guitar:
Solid player, perfect frets, guitar set up superbly right out of the box. I got this axe on sale with a special Labor day price, and I couldn't be happier. I have owned a Tempest gold top Special as well, and that one I should never have let go. The coil tap is a great bonus on the Standard, and you get the P-90 and Strat tones very easily. The look of the guitar is amazing to say the least, with gorgeous neck binding, glossy smooth finish, Duncan designed pups, rosewood fingerboard, mahogany neck, The trus rod works, unlike some other imports I have tried recently. One such guitar, that will remain nameless, had to be sent back due to a twisted neck that buzzed no matter what measures you took to set up the guitar. The schecter is warm, very easy to play, and makes great sounds. From clean to dirty, from Blues to jazz, this guitar does it al, and with a super price that won't break the bank. Buy one, you'll see what I mean.
