I'm a drummer that decided to expand my horizons by learning the guitar. I ordered this guitar not expecting much, but i'm really happy i bought it. My guitar buddies have all commented on the sound and agree it's the perfect guitar to get me started. Using D'Addario EJ16 Phospher Bronze strings i had it perfectly tuned in no time with my Qwik Tune of course. It looks nice standing next to my Pearls too!

Excellent value ... I purchased for my girlfriend (age 48), a beginner and she loves it; beautiful mellow sound ... easily tuned, and I promptly ordered a gig bag, electronic tuner, and a guitar stand ... all are excellent values, and required accessories for the new picker to properly take care of the guitar;

I am a left handed 65 year old and have never played a musical instrument but always wanted to do so. I finally decided to begin to work on my bucket list and learn to play a guitar. After much research I decided to buy an inexpensive instrument so that I would not beat myself up if I never learned to play and wasted a really expensive guitar that I would only use to hang my hat on. Friends and a few relatives told me I should look into the instruments available for a left hander and read the info and reviews. I did what they suggested and I finally decided to order a Rogue RG 624 Dreadnought left handed guitar, guitar stand, electronic tuner and gig bag. On December 7th, 2010 ( a day that will live in musical infamy ) only 6 days after my equipment was ordered it was all delivered to my house. I was so excited that I couldn't even eat supper. When I opened the brown box and saw my neatly packed guitar, I could not believe what I saw. This guitar is really well made and it plays well. I have it now for 2 month and practice every day. It looks really good and has no flaws that I can see. I brought it with me to take lessons at a local music store and they commented positively on the quality, good looks and sound. That made me feel good. Over the Christmas holiday I brought it with me to NJ and showed it to my relatives who all have been playing guitars for years. I wish you could have seen the smiles that they had on their faces when they strummed it and listened to its tone. I love this guitar and from what experienced players have told me " this is a really great guitar for the price". They all love it's sound and all wanted to play it even though they are all right handed players. The gig bag is really made nice and although it does not give the protection that a better thicker padded bag would have it does the trick for me. The stand really blew me away also. It was so inexpensive and it is so well made. The electronic tuner is a MUST for any guitar player of any experience level. I'm excited to be playing as well as I can every chance I get. The whole experience has motivated me to really get into learning to play my new friend and companion.
If you are looking for an inexpensive starter guitar and are afraid as I was to waste money on a pawn shop unit buy one of these without fear. I could go on some more, but I really have to get in some more practice tonight.

I am really enjoying my new guitar, and am very happy with the quality. I expected a basic beginner unit with which I would be workign around buzzing frets and high action, but it is quite well made, has a wonderful mellow tone, and is easy to play even with my large fingers. I am also pleased with music 123 for making such a nice axe available to me at a very nice price.
