A worthy starter guitar.

A marvel for its price, the traditional dreadnought design makes for one very playable guitar with a great, full tone. Perfect for strumming or fingerpicking any style of music, it's no wonder this guitar has been so highly rated by our customers. Features a genuine spruce top, die-cast tuning machines, 25-1/2" scale nato neck, and bound rosewood fretboard. It's easy to tune and stays that way. Rich, resonant sound and excellent projection and intonation make this a first guitar to be proud of. It's also great for camping or as a second guitar. Each guitar ships with genuine Martin strings for a quality sound right out of the box.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

I got this guitar for a Beginning Guitar class I took recently and I must say, it will not dissapoint. When I first started playing it, it sounded very bright. However, after about 2 weeks, it began acquiring a very rich tone. Best of all, it stays tuned for a very long time. If its your first time buying a guitar, this is an excellent choice. I also recommend getting the Musicians Gear Deluxe Dreadnought Case (Item# 540945). Trust me, these two items make a perfect match!

Well, it came today. I got the sunburst Rogue RA-100. Well, the guitar has a couple small dents and 2 broken string when I opened it but I do like the feel of it. Overall I'm happy with it and you can't beat the price.

Really quite nice, got the black and it is not flawless (bits of glue) but still quite pretty. Sound is nice! Good starter or campfire guitar. Love the plain square headstock

      Amazing guitar

Comments about Rogue RA-100D Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I bought this guitar about a month ago, and I Love it. I was shocked at how good it sounded for such a low price. It sounds almost as good as my dad's guitar, which was much more expensive. Once in tune, the guitar sounds amazing. I got it in black, and it smudges a little, but that's not a big deal. It can be fixed with some polish. It is an amazing guitar for it's price and the perfect guitar for beginners. I love this guitar.

I got this as a gift for my FIL for this xmas. He's never played. I've been playing for many years and he wants me to teach him.

I took it out of the box to check it out and tune it up. The quality is that of a much more expensive guitar. It was nicely set up and sounds great. The string guage that comes on it is a little thin for my tastes but would be great for a person just learning.

      Awesome starter guitar

Comments about Rogue RA-100D Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

I got this guitar, the black model, for Christmas last year. It's an awesome guitar, it sounds great, looks great, and feels great. The only bad thing I can think of, is that when looking inside, is that the glue can be seen and is rather sloppy looking. It stays in tune quite well and sounds great with either acoustic strings or electric strings. The fingerboard is looking a little worn, but that can be easily rectified using a little cleaner. All in all, this is a pretty awesome guitar, I've gotten lots of compliments on how great it sounds. For being such a cheap guitar, it sure sounds great.

      Pretty good starter guitar

In my opinion this is a pretty good guitar to start out with. It stays in tune very well. The action was a little high but that was easy to adjust. I got the black one, and it's stayed nice and glossy like. The fingerboard is kind of getting a little worn from string bending, nothing a little polishing can't fix though. All in all a pretty good guitar.

I've had this guitar for 5 months now and I love it. The strings on this thing are awesome. It's much easier to play and it sounds better than a lot of other beginner guitars out there. Definitely worth the money if you're looking for a good beginner's guitar.

      A Great value

      By James-pg7K1

Comments about Rogue RA-100D Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

The guitar I recieved really suprised me. The fit finish, and over all quality are well beyond the selling price. The action was a little high for my taste, but a quick sanding of the sddle fixed this. The frets are well done, finished well, and no high or low frets. the bridge is actually nice wood, along with the fretboard. The finish was good, though not perfect. If you look long enough you can find some very minor imperfections. this guitar has a nice bright sound, and with a string change to Martin SP lights, it really shines. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone seeking a budget guitar without sacraficing quality and playability.
