From Rogue comes this amazing deal in the RA-90 dreadnought acoustic guitar. The Rogue guitar is an ideal instrument for the beginner, or young musician. The body depth and width bring out balanced tone and plenty of projection to be heard from across the room.
This ultra-affordable dreadnought acoustic guitar features a whitewood body, which brings out lots of mid-range punch. The nato neck and dovetail neck joint adds sustain, without losing any strength in tone. The rosewood bridge and fretboard add clarity to each note, and a striking look to the front of the guitar. The RA-090's C-neck shape, 1-2/3" nut width, and 16" radius help with intricate fretboard movements when running up and down the 19 frets. Dressed in a polyurethane finish and featuring nickel hardware and covered tuners, the Rogue acoustic guitar will certainly get the job done, at a price that anybody can afford.

Rouge RA-090 is a good quality and good sounding guitar. Dont let the low price fool you into thinking its a toy, its not!! It has a nice neck, the action out of the box is good. The fit and finish on mine is almost perfect. The tuning keys keep the strings in tune once the new strings have been stretched out by playing them for a couple of hours. Not only this is a great starter guitar, its also a great take-everywhere guitar for an experienced player. Take it with you to the beach, park, hiking, camping, or traveling, If gets damaged, oh well, keep your more expensive guitar safe at home. When I started playing guitar in 1974 a guitar of this quality would sell for 3 times this and back then that was a lot more money than it is today. I have many acoustic guitars which I paid a lot more for than this one. Since I got this, I have parked all the others. I just wish it had a satin finish neck, gloss finish on the neck gets a sticky feeling when the palm of youre fretting hand gets sweaty; but, I can fix that with a 350-400 grid sand paper, then finish it off with a 600 grid and then lemon-oil the neck.GREAT BARGAIN!!

guitar.WOW, with 10$ worth of bone nut,pins &
saddle....makes me "HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY" Overall this is a wonderful learning instrument. If you want to experement with a acoustic guitar, you'll have a ball with this one.my back-up now has its very own backup!

I recently gave one of these guitars to my brother. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a good guitar. In fact, it is great for the price. Here is an instrument that we can take to the beach or the mountains and not worry about it. If he ever gets better then he can get his own guitar.

Really great guitar; and as good or better as some of the guitars in the 200-300 range. The sunburst is beautiful, sounds good, and stays tuned long enough not be discouraging. The only con I found was, one of the strings it came with snapped in the first hour of playing; but I half expected this.

It's hard to find anything wrong with my Rogue RA-090. I own several other much more expensive guitars that I use when jamming and for recording and gigs. I bought the Rogue primarily out of curiosity along with the possibility of keeping it in the car when traveling (not recommended). It is fun to play and so much better than I expected that i have been practiing with it frequently. It is a perfect beginner guitar - I wish I had one when I started out playing forty years ago - instead of the hunk of junk I learned on.
Mind you it is not the best sounding guitar, but it is certainly not the worst either. The nut on mine was near perfectly cut and the instrument stays in tune for hours on end. The intonation could be better, but it is tolerable - I'll probably tweak the saddle to try and improve same (when i have time). Thank you Music 123 and Rogue for bringiing this incredible value to the market.

There are guitars with better know names that cost much more but aren't as good as this Rogue. The sound is amazing and the action won't kill your fingers. This is a great guitar for beginners to learn on, or a great alternate guitar to pick around the campfire when you want to leave your expensive Martin safely in it's case at home. I own several Rouge guitars ranging from solid body electrics to auditorium acoustic electrics and all acoustic dreadnaughts and I'm very pleased with all of them. They look great, play great, sound great and you can't beat the price. What's not to like?

I have purchased several of these Rogue guitars over the years to give to folks who express a desire to learn guitar. I bought this one for my mom, who will turn 70 this year. She used to play way back when and decided she wanted to play again. This guitar is perfect for her, casual player that does not need a fancy guitar. This one sounds good and plays quite nicely.
