I've always felt that Rogue is a very inexpensive, yet quality brand. I have a bass by rogue, and it was better than most Gibsons I've heard. I bought this guitar as a travel guitar, something versatile. I didn't expect it to be anything wonderful. This guitar has a sweeter tone to it than any guitar that I've heard in my life. I was shocked to realize I spent so little, and got so much. The moment you have it tuned and begin to strum it, you can't bring yourself to put it down. If you are wondering whether to buy this because of quality, or are sceptical because of the price, have no fear. This guitar wouldn't dissapoint even the harshest critic.

I thought it would be nice to use as an outdoor amplified guitar near the ocean where I would not have to worry about the sand and salt. This guitars intonation was way off so it went out of tune as you played up the fretboard. It is useless to use it when playing with other guitar players. I ended up taking of the tuners and other parts and burning it in my fireplace. This guitar didn't play any love songs but, It kept me warm on a lone and rainy night with appologies to John Denver. If you are a good guitar player, don't waste your time and money on this guitar. Save up a couple of more dollars and buy something good.....

OMGoodness!!! Rockin' Leetle Guitar On The Cheap!!!

Comments about Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Sweet-Sweetness!!! JUST Got this guitar this afternoon for our daughter's Christmas present!
She is going to be so Psyched!~ For a hundred bucks and some change, you Can Not beat this guitar.
The Fishman Pick-up / Preamp system is worth that alone. This guitar is pretty well made... little heavy on the glue, but hopefully that computes to nothing coming loose later...:-)
It sounds very nice, a little bright , but I think a quick string - change will remedy that.
Tuners work fine. And like I said: the Fishman system is very adjustable. You can get a great variety of sounds. You just can't go wrong for this price! If this guitar was lost or stolen, we would certainly get another! Thanks Rogue!!! NOW - Go Buy One For Yourself!!!!

Black accoustic electric dreadnaught

By arizonaames

Comments about Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This is a fantastic guitar not only for the price but the quality and sound compares to the best Takamine guitars. It appears to be a similar to a more expensive Takamine guitar that I used to own, but the sound quality seems to be better. I had to sand down the lower bridge but even with the original Martin strings, it is truly on a par with the best out there.

It's a Keeper!

By maggie wong

Comments about Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Since I've had this guitar in three years ago, I would say it is still in a very good condition regarding to anything technical. From having no skills to gaining techniques and knowledge about playing guitar, this one has stuck with me the longest time. It has traveled with me city to city, from home to college and vice versa. All parts of the guitar are still very strong and reliable to play with. Yes, there are better brands and more famous guitars. But when it comes down to playing for the sake of music and people, for such a price and quality as this Rogue, it is definitely worth it. I still play with this guitar today. When I had first received it, I had never heard of Rogue so I was a little skeptical about the quality. But I really grew fond of it. To its sound, feel, weight, and look. It always brightens my day when I see it still standing there, leaning against my wall with that cheerful and easy-going look. Especially knowing that it still produces the same familiar sound and enjoyment it did years ago. and since this IS kind of a beginner's guitar, i would definitely recommend Kyser capo, strap, and all that comes with the fullness of learning guitar.

Amazing sound (and an even more amazing price!)

By CHM

Comments about Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I read the reviews before I purchased, and I was somewhat skeptical about the rave reviews. But at this price I thought I would just give it a try (with the satisfaction guarantee, I could always ship it back). But when I got it, I was very surprised by the sound quality of this guitar. I can understand why words like "astonishing" and "awesome" were used to describe it. The low tones are rich, the high ones are crisp and the actions are clean. The only downside is that it doesn't produce nearly the acoustical volume you would expect from a much more expensive guitar (I'd guess most people would use the pickup anyway). Otherwise, I am extremely pleased with this guitar. While the sound is superb, I did notice some very minor quality issues. I ordered the natural color, but I got the sunburst instead. When I called Music123 for a RMA, they told me the box must have been mislabeled. In addition, I noticed that the E# on the high E string produced a slight buzz (may be the 1st fret wasn't made high enough or the neck was slightly bowed). I got the replacement unit in natural color several days later. This piece (the one I have now) has absolutely no technical issues, though on the top and bottom ends of the frets you could feel that the metal wasn't finished very smoothly. Overall though, I am very very happy with this guitar, and especially for such an amazing price.

Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Comments about Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I guess one of the draw back buying stuff from the Internet is you can't physically judge a product. The guitar is great for the price but I didn't expect the body to be so big, being electric-acustic guitar.

Rogue Dreadnought Guitar

Comments about Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I have been totally pleased with this guitar, not only how quick it shipped and arrived but also the great guitar itself. I was totally surprised how great it sounded even without the amp and also how sweet these Martin strings sound.Whats weird is that I was playing a nylon classical and was expecting to suffer a little on steel strings, but these strings for lack of a better term are comfortable! No vibrations, just a nice solid tone that I hope will last for years.

Newbie wants to learn

By Marie

from Putnam Valley NY

Comments about Rogue Dreadnought Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I'm an adult just starting starting to teach myself guitar (took piano lessons when I was younger so I've got something in my back pocket), and I wanted to get a beginner's guitar that sounds good and worked w/my budget. This guitar is perfect for me. I got the sunburst pattern, and its beautiful. I had a couple of friends check it out- one's a former professional musician (still plays as a hobby and at Church), the other is a bar-band member. They both loved it, and said it played better than what I paid for it. I've been practicing for about an hour every night and loving it. Buy this guitar. You won't be disappointed.
