The Recording King ROS-16 is a 12th fret OOO-style acoustic guitar crafted from a vintage 1902 design. With a solid AA-grade Sitka spruce top and mahogany back and sides, this guitar has the warm intimate sound you would expect from a classic 12th fret. The acoustic guitar's 1-13/16" nut width is a fingerpicker's dream, and professional appointments like the rosewood fretboard, ebony pyramid bridge, bone nut and saddle insure this acoustic guitar sounds as great as it looks.

I bought this guitar mainly out of curiosity. It looked nice and I was looking for a 000 body guitar to add to my collection. I certainly was drawn to the low price but didn't expect too much. Boy, was I surprised. I have had this guitar for about 2 weeks and I can't seem to put it down. Easy playability, great action, clear sound in all registers are a few of the pluses. I have a Martin 00028 Norman Blake signiture and though I hate to say, it is rivaled by this much less expensive instrument. The bass on the Martin is a little more pronounced and there is more volume but that is about the biggest difference. As far as I am now concerned, this is the best kept secret there is. I am really happy that I took a chance and bought the ros-16. If you are considering buy one, don't hesitate. I don't think you will be sorry.
