I have been teaching and performing for more than 20 years. I have played hundreds of acoustic guitars, but this is by far, the best I have ever played. It sounds perfect plenty of highs and the bass is perfect. But when plugged in, this instrument really shines.

I got the black one. It's a very pretty guitar(eye candy piece), and the fit & finish is quite nice. however, like most Ovation guitars, they don't sound all that great unless you plug them in. At least with the deep bowl this model has fairly good volume compared to a lot of other Ovation's; but not as loud as other comparable axe's. Also the bass notes are somewhat weak on volume if you play the guitar fingerstyle. However, this is not what this guitar is really designed for. If you want a beautiful guitar that is going to be plugged in and strummed or picked, I recommend it.
