The Silhouette is made for traveling. Even in its case, it will fit in the overhead compartments of most commercial airliners. The body is alder for both lightness and resonance, and the neck is selected maple with a truss rod that adjusts without string or component removal. Hardware includes Schaller locking tuners and string-thru-body bridge. Includes DiMarzio pickups: one custom-wound single coil and two PAF PRO humbuckers.

The Music Man Silhouette walks a fine line between a piece of art and musical instrument. I have been playing guitar for close to twenty years and recently purchased this guitar and fell in love with all the tonal possibilities this particular guitar could achieve. With this one guitar i have been able to achive classic rock, blues, jazz, clean chicken picken... you name it it does it and with a sophistication matched by none. If you're looking for a pro level instrument look no further... this is my go to guitar. It's so nice i bought a second one within two weeks of the first purchase.
