Deluxe dreadnought featuring the rich warmth of rosewood back and sides.
Mitchell's MD300S Solid Spruce Top acoustic guitar offers balanced sound and amazing projection, with comfortable design and a moderate sticker price. Built on the popular dreadnought design, the Mitchell MD300S guitar possesses a deep and mid-size width, creating a sound chamber that offers well-balanced tone that sounds great in any setting. Whether practicing alone, jamming with buddies, or getting wild at center stage, the dreadnought guitar body looks great and sounds superb.
The Mitchell MD300S guitar features a solid spruce top, offering balanced tone and plenty of full-range projection. The rosewood body complements these qualities and adds clarity to each note. The dovetail neck joint adds strength in design, and lasting clarity. The mahogany neck is very responsive, and adds warmth in the acoustic guitar's mid-range. The Mitchell acoustic guitar's 25-1/2" scale and 43mm nut width adds comfort when moving up and down the rosewood fretboard's 20 frets.
Abalone purfling, die-cast high-ratio tuners, gold hardware, and a natural finish add to the overall beauty of the instrument, making the MD300S acoustic guitar Mitchell's finest dreadnought offering. Case sold separately.

Comments about Mitchell MD300S Solid Spruce Top Acoustic Guitar:
OK, so I needed another guitar like I need a hole in my head. This one makes number 9 in the household. If I added them all together, maybe I could afford the Gibson that I would love to have, but will never be able to buy. The Mitchell MD300S is billed on the Mitchell website at their "Flagship Dreadnought" guitar. Having admired the sound, action, playability of a friends MD100S, I was absolutely STUNNED by the price on the 300! Solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard. It is a beautiful instrument, has a remarkable tone, action is wonderful, plays like a dream. I've been playing for over 30 years, and remember the horrible student guitars that I played early on. The difficulty playing almost made me want to quit. This guitar would be an excellent choice for a beginner - you'll be spoiled from the beginning. It is also a great guitar for someone more experienced - and what a bargain. PARENTS (I'm one of those, too) If you're looking for an inexpensive guitar for a teen who's wanting to learn, look no further. Note, I said, "inexpensive" not "cheap." There are plenty of "cheap" instruments out there that play very "cheaply," and many cost more than this one! Lovin' It.
