Sublime natural Martin tone, fabulous Martin looks.

Tonally, the guitar's rosewood back produces a strong bass, making it ideal for rhythm playing. The top is constructed of solid Sitka spruce and braced with scalloped 1/4" high-performance braces to deliver big, open tones. Includes case.

Simply the 'Best of the Best'

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

What can you say...first of all it's a Martin, secondly it's an HD 35...the best of the best. Rich base tones, clear high tones, and a clarity that makes a river stream sound muffled. The best guitar I have ever owned in 20 years of playing. Beats the D and HD 28's hands down.

Nothing beats the D35

By Wayne Arnold

from Spencer, Ok

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

If you are really serious about playing an acoustic guitar and going to make it a lifetime effort, then put your money where it should be and that's on the best, it will cost you more but in the end you will be happy and you won't be trading around and that will save you money in the end.

best I ever Had

By Spoiled from now on

from Edmonton AB

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

I just bought a new HD35. This guitar is the best I have ever played or heard in my 33 years of playing. I had traded up from An SP16R and find the HD35 to be a much better all around instrument. The SP16R was good for single note flat picking but not as good for chords and hard strums. The HD35 will be the last acoustic I will ever buy or need. Thanks Martin.

Great Sound

By Garrett-y7AN7

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

My grandpa just gave me an HD-35 for my graduation. It has the thickest and deepest sound. It resonates like no other guitar I have ever played. It's well worth it's cost. You get what you pay for.

Beautiful sound - set up nicely

By Hap

from Near Chicago

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

The incredible highs, full sound with either finger style or plectrum. I was concerned with buying this through the mail but my fears were unfounded. It came out of the case well set up and in flawless condition. I won't need the 45 day return policy. I knew it was a keeper 5 min after it was out of the case. Thanks Music 123! This deserves a sixth star.

Best sounding guitar I've ever played

By Porter Styles

from Upstate SC

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

This Martin HD35 is by far the best playing and sounding acoustic guitar I have ever played. I have an old vintage Gibson that doesn't even come close. Thanks C.F. Martin and Music123 for the best price and service. Thanks, Pickin4Him

Nice for most types of music

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

While visiting family, my cousin let me use his HD-35. I like blues and this guitar has a country western sound to me. I have a Taylor Big Baby that I think sounds way more bluesy. Otherwise, this guitar has a wonderful, rich sound that fills the room. Would be a great box for bluegrass and country music. If you like the blues though, you might want to look elsewhere, but that is just my personal opinion.

Best Accustic I have ever owned!

By DEAnkele

from Chicago

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

I bought my D35 Martin back in 1974 and the sound is as deep and rich as the day brought it home. The face has gotten darker with age, but the action and finish are perfect. This was my ultimate guitar, and I am lucky to have had it all these years. It is, after all, a lifetime investment.

There is nothing like a Martin

By Saloonsngr

from Long Island, NY

Comments about Martin Standard Series HD-35 Acoustic Guitar:

I bought my Martin HD-35 about a year ago. It has clear bright highs and deep mellow lows with a booming sound to fill the room even without electrics. I use my Martin to gig with my band, and all of my band mates clamor to borrow it, but of course I won't let anyone play it. This is a lifetime purchase, once you own it, you will never want to play anything else. It just "feels good" in your hand.
