I am a beginner on guitar so I can't speak to the Little Martins true capabilities. Like others - I was surprised at the quality of the sound. The strings ring clear when strummed. Also - the body vibrates slightly when played. Sounds pretty good. The volume of sound is noticeably smaller than my Fender DG-8 but that too was expected. I find the fret spacing and string location easier to play than the Fender. I get some fret-buzz on the lower e and a strings but it is controlable by moving my fingers closer to the fret. Part of the learning curve. The Fender is more tollerant of my sloppy playing. I use the guitar on the sailboat. It's small enough to be comfortable on board. All in all a great guitar - glad I bought it.

I love this guitar. It sounds great and keeps in tune much better than more expensive guitars. The travelcase is beautiful and keeps the guitar very safe. Kids at school love it too -- it's just the right size for small hands. This guitar was a great investment.

i got this little baby to keep around the house for practice. it turned out to sound so good and be so easy to carry around that i've added a pic-up and made her my gig guitar!!! if your lookin for that woody guthrie americana thing, then this here's the guitar for you! the koa looks pretty cool too.

I love this guitar. I got rid of my backbacker and bought one of these. The sound is great and it's loud. Intonation is as it shouds be for a Martin. This guitar is low maintenance and built well. Very comfortable and easy to play. I leave mine on my boat because it takes up less space.The gig bag makes it's perfect for travel. It's almost too nice of a guitar for a beginer.

Loved this 3/4 scale guitar so much, that after buying one for my daughter, I bought one for myself. Truly a competent guitar for a very small price. Workmanship is excellent on both guitars. I bouoght one electric model and one Koa. I woould recommend this guitar to anyone wanting a perfect travel guitar. The gig bag is also awesome.

I was considering the backpack guitar by Martin but when I picked up the Little Martin and played it. It is awesome, I haven't put it down since I bought it. The bag that comes with it is very plush. I figured it would be some little thin bag but it is really quite thick and soft. It has an outside pocket, inside strap to hold the guitar in place with backpack straps on the back if you want to carry it like a backpack. You get more then what you pay for; buy it, you won't be sorry.

I've played all of the "travellers" and this is by far the nicest sounding. Perfect for small hands and the legendary Martin look and feel are there. Don't expect a super rich sound but it's decent enough. Nice gig bag too!!! I would do it all over again. Thanks Music123 for the quick shipment!!!!

This is a fantastic little student guitar for small kids or a travel guitar for anyone. The heavily padded Nylon gig bag slips right into the overhead compartment of an airplane! I bought one for my young son, and after playing it, I bought one for myself also. It plays very well, and has an amazingly big sound for such a small package. In fact, I would be willing to say it plays and sounds better than most full size guitars in the $200 to $500 price range.

This little guitar plays extremely well. Ok lets face it, it is not going to play like a full size martin but it does play very well for it size. Build quality is among the highest. Much better than the baby taylor and the tacoma papoose, which shouldnt be called a travel guitar because it is too big. All this at a hundred dollars less than anything close. Best travel guitar for the money by far.
