The Martin 000CX1 Acoustic-Electric Guitar is an earth-friendly update of the classic 000 design. The 000CX1 is equipped with a solid spruce top, HPL (High Pressure Laminate) body, a cutaway for full access to the entire fingerboard, and Fishman® Classic 4 Sonicore electronics.
Martin uses specially engineered environmentally friendly materials in the 000CX1 guitar that inclucde the HPL wood fiber laminate and Micarta in place of increasingly scarce hardwoods.

This plays with ease. I would compare it to my Les Paul but the included amp kicks it up a notch. With Flat Wound Strings, I can stretch the E almost to the A and it reads like a dream.

I have been playing my Martin 000CX1E for about 5 years and I love it. It feels great and has a big sound. I like to plug in and play live in coffee houses and you can't beat it for that. My Martin came with a HumiCase for warranty purposes, so be sure you look into those requirements. I recommend this guitar all the time. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I know of better guitars, but the cost a ton more. I was very tempted to put 5 stars!
