A great beginner's guitar that looks as mean as it sounds!
The Laguna LE50 Electric Guitar is the "little brother" of the Laguna LE200, and is perfect for smaller hands. Put simply: the LE50 rocks. For your first guitar, you can't go wrong with it! The slim-tapered neck and shallow C shape provide a comfortable feel, and the hard rock maple neck will stay straight and true. The basswood body and high-output ceramic magnet pickups offer up clean, biting tone, while the black satin finish and black hardware make the Laguna LE50 guitar look as mean as it sounds. Case sold separately.

Comments about Laguna LE50 Short-Scale Electric Guitar:
As a slide player I have always had a penchant for short scale guitars. I purchased this Laguna LE50 short scale guitar on a whim and have been impressed with it's quality. I did have to set the intonation but other than that it plays great. The frets are well finished with no jagged ends and it plays well. The pickups also sound very good which is unexpected for a guitar in it's price range especially when running thru a fuzz pedal or two. The controls feel very good and the tone control is very useful. As a slide player I find it very useful as I keep it tuned in an open G Major it is a nice change from my other full sized guitars. I am confined to bed a lot of the time and it works very well for that. I would not hesitate to recommend it to any guitar player looking for something different to add to their arsenal especially at the excellent price point. The best thing about this guitar is that it leads me in new creative directions. I think it would also be a great travel guitar.
