Great Buy

Comments about Kremona Orpheus Valley Fiesta FC Classical Guitar:

I just purchased a used Kremona Fiesta FC. It is a great guitar that compares with much higher priced instruments. The quality is excellent. It plays very easy and yet has plenty of volumn. The sustain is incredible. it has beautiful tone. My only complaint is the A note is louder than the rest. The high e, 12th fret is softer than I would like. For the price it is a great bargain.

Fiesta FC Review - An Awesome Guitar!

Comments about Kremona Orpheus Valley Fiesta FC Classical Guitar:

I purchased an Orpheus Valley Fiesta FC about 3 years ago from a local music store. I had the opportunity to compare it back-to-back with several other guitars in a wide array of prices. I've been studying and playing classical guitar since the 1990s, and it was time to upgrade from my Takamine. I compared it first to the entire La Patrie line. While the price points were similar to La Patrie Collection, the Fiesta FC had a HUGELY superior tone. I also compared it to several Yairi models which were significantly more expensive. The Fiesta FC had better projection and dynamics than all every Yairi model I played. The most expensive Yairi model I tried (sorry don't recall the model) had a slightly lower action than the Fiesta, but at the cost of projection as the Fiesta was quite booming, the Yairi took extra effort which sometimes caused the strings to rattle to equal the volume produced by the Fiesta. I recall the way the Fiesta made the OTHER guitars resonate in the classical room. WOW!

Now, I've had a few years to get very familiar with my Fiesta FC. The guitar sounds brilliant, full and loud! The action is good. The action isn't as low as on my Flamenco guitar, but hey, it's a classical and it is designed to be that way. The machine tuners are precise and hold tune well. The guitar has a wonderful dynamic range that is easy to control with subtle movements of the right hand. The finish is smooth and not sticky like my old Takamine. I chose the cedar top model because I feel like it has brilliant treble when played by the bridge (good for baroque) and if played closer to the soundhole has a nice bass which in my opinion sounds great for more recent spanish classical pieces (ie Tarrega).

Since purchasing the guitar, I still pick up and try out other classical guitars whenever I'm in the music store. I can honestly tell you I have NEVER regretted buying my Fiesta FC. I have not yet found a guitar in the same price range as this that sounds and plays as good. If you want to buy a great classical guitar at a good price, buy this guitar. In the last three years the only guitars I have played that I considered better than my Fiesta FC were over five times the price.

To summarize:
Tone: Excellent, dynamic
Construction: Superior
Action: Good
Volume/Projection: Exellent
Feel/Finish: Perfect, smooth
Tuners: Very good quality, stays in tune well
Value: Excellent, simply cannot be beat. BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK HANDS DOWN!!!
