Absolutley a great guitar. Tune it up and right out of the box it sounds incredible. I have about 10 years playing time and have played many beginner guitars; this is hands down the best. I own a $$ Alzarez Yari and I'd have to say the sound compares. The Jasmine has an excellent solid construction and great tone. I bought the Jasmine so I'd have something to play while I am in Iraq. Thanks Music 123 for the awesome customer support. The guitar arrived in about 3 weeks which is fast out here. I had intended to sell it to someone when I leave, but now I have to buy a hard case so I can ship it home; this is a keeper. This will go with me on every deployment, camping trip, vacation, etc. I love this thing!

cool concept for a affordable guitar. neck is way big and bulky, thinly constructed body, feels like i can push through it. cheap tuners. for the price get a rogue , tehy are constructed better.. but if u have to have the takamine name on a product, id suggest getting a better model, for the price there are better options.it is a plaYABLE guitar, but in my 20 years of playing, i have picked up cheaper guitars built better and sounds better..

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I tried the s34c acoustic a couple years ago that a friend had & I was very impressed with the tone & playability. Bought this has a backup for my 1983 gibson acoustic & basic general strummer for around the house. Ended up buying a one more for a starter for the galfriend. The quality cannot be touched in this price range, sounds as good as acoustics 3-4 times the price. Adjusted the bridge saddle on my first one to get the action lower - this is an adjustement you may need on a much more expensive models. Don't be afraid to to buy, great playability and tone --not just for price, the guitar sounds great.

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

The Jasmine S34C is a fantastic guitar. The NEX body shape is very comfortable to play and it has a bigger sound than smaller models like a Grand Concert for instance. One of the string nut slots was a little rough but I cleaned it out with a nut file and put on a new set of strings. The guitar plays easily and sounds great. The frets are nice and smooth and the action is proper without any buzz. Excellent sustain with a nice deep bass and good treble without being ice pick treble. Over the last few months I tried a lot of acoustic guitars including Ibanez, the inexpensive Martin, The Loar and the deeply discounted Breedlove models. I like this guitar much better. So much so that I ordered a 2nd one as a back up. On the 2nd one I will have to do a little more setup work as the string height at the nut is too high. Even if you have to pay a Luthier to do some set up work for you this guitar is still a fantastic value. Don't wait. At this price just buy it!

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I ordered this guitar in afghanistan. I wanted something cheap that i wouldn't feel bad parting with, and it only had to last a year. I had low expectations, but got the opposite of what i expected. this guitar is light, and yet sturdy. The size is perfect, and the extended neck is great. I checked each and every fret from the lowest to the very highest note. Not a single buzz or hum from any fret, and the sound quality is great. I wouldn't mind paying more for a guitar of this quality. I recieved a much higher value guitar than I planned on getting, for a much smaller price than I planned on paying. Unbelievable deal.

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I was surprized as how well this guitar plays and sounds for the price, a bargain price as for now, don't miss out on this guitar, and it looks very nice in the wood as it saids Nato, it really looks like a natural wood, and feels light and very confortable in the arms, new strings were needed. Let them know , and you may get new ones. All in all , I'm happy with it, I think you will too, never judge a guitar by price and picture. GL

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

Just bought this Jasmine at a great price! All I can say is what a bargain! Looks great, feels great, plays great, sounds great. Extremely light and very comfortable to hold and play. The neck and fretboard are very comfortable and everything is fretted easily. Feels every bit as good in my hands as my more expensive Washburn. Also very hard to find a cut-away model at this price. Any beginner would love to learn on this guitar. Better players would really enjoy it as a hi-quality campfire beater. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the strings were corroded and a little rusty so they needed to be changed immediately. No big deal on that one. Maybe one other thing to mention is the finish. They call it satin. It feels to me that there is no coating on it whatsoever. I think its just stained and sanded but it looks awesome and it feels really good to the touch. Very smooth. So... If you're looking for a hi-gloss nitro type finish this may not be the one for you. (but You don't really have to worry about smudges, fingerprints and polishing every time you touch it.) All in all I think it's one of the best cheap ones I've seen and I've been searching for a good deal for a long while. Like it better than the Mitchell's and there also a good buy. (especially if you want the hi-gloss version. You won't be sorry with this one. I give it a solid 10 in all areas. When I got home from work the day it came I ripped it open, restrung it, and played it from 8pm until 2 in the morning non-stop!!!. Had to be up at 4:30am to get back to work! Then all day long I couldn't wait to get back home to play it. That's how nice it is.

            Unbelievable for the price

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

Primarily, I have owned countless electrics, acoustic/electrics, and acoustics throughout my life, had to sell everything I had of value to survive and this being the only guitar
I could afford as well as, 1st guitar I have had in 7 months.

I have owned this guitar now exactly 9 months and it still is playing perfectly moreso, the action
still remaining identicle to where I set it. ( I should say it played fine when I got it and normal for
me to "fine-tune" any acoustic I buy regardless, of cost ot brand) Although, I had a very good experience with a $500 Takimine acoustic/electric in the past, I knew that $100 guitars fall into
the Forest Gump saying "box of chocolates" in that one could be perfect...the next nothing more
            than kindling wood.

Although, this guitar had some very minor flaw finishes, both the appearance and integrity was
equal to guitars I have owned 5 times it's price. It is very rare to get a cut-a-way on a guitar in this price range and even more rare to not have the neck on any guitar not bow or twist and neither of these issues have occurred as of yet. In truth, if it were not for the name on the head-stock, I would believe by the appearance and playability that this was a mid-level Takimine rather than
their lowest prices entry level acoustic.

As I said, you can buy 5 of the same model acoustic guitars from any major company and not one will play the exact same as the other however, this guitar is without question the best I have owned based on cost in relation to integrity and playability. I would not hesitate buying another one or recommending it to anyone as it has altered my belief that you have to spend $400 to get
            a quality acoustic guitar.

            Beautiful Guitar with Rich Sound

            By Just Learning...

            from Minneapolis, Minnesota

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

I am a beginner guitar player and was not looking to invest too much in a starter guitar so I decided to purchase the Jasmine. There were a few minor setbacks such as the neck being slightly bowed and coming strung with corroded strings, but I took it in to our local luthier and for $35 he fixed the neck/truss rod, filed some frets, and put new strings on it. Now it sounds amazing! I love it! The neck is perfect for my small hands and the sound is rich and loud. I love this guitar - well worth the investment! The luthier asked how much I paid for it and when I told him the sale price he said that I got a great guitar for the price.

            By Gerald Brewster

            from Mill Valley, CA

Comments about Jasmine S34C NEX Cutaway Acoustic Guitar:

Although I've only had this guitar for a very short time, it seems to uphold Takamine's high standards, even with the less desirable nato wood back and sides, which makes the amazing price possible. All in all, I am pleasantly surprised with this instrument, which is allowing me to return to playing after too many years away from it, without spending a lot of money. Perhaps in the future, I'll invest more into one made with a more optimum tone wood back, but for now, I'm quite happy with it. With this quality, Music123 is practically GIVING them away!
