Jackson

A more affordable Rhoads model with expanded finish options.

The strikingly designed Jackson RR3 Rhoads Pro Electric Guitar is built for extreme players. The alder body (with flamed maple top on the transparent finishes) joins up with the maple neck and compound-radius rosewood fretboard. Shredder-friendly features include jumbo frets; a Floyd Rose-licensed, Jackson low-profile, double-locking tremolo; Seymour Duncan JB TB4 (bridge) and Jazz SH2N (neck) humbuckers; and volume/volume/tone with 3-way switching. Black hardware completes the visuals.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better! Includes deluxe Jackson/SKB molded case.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

A good 'diferent' guitar

By Dirk M.

from Vancouver, WA

Comments about Jackson RR3 Rhoads Electric Guitar:

Owned this guitar for 1 1/2 years or so. Has a awesome look and shape. But you haft to play it like a classical sitting down which means finding a prop for your foot. Also if your walking around with it the top fin is sometimes a pain cuz it might get wacked on stuff. The scaling on it is more simular to classical guitars so take that into consideration. I bought it with a Surlock Strap, that didn't work cuz it rubbed on the finish. Floor guitar stands don't work well ether. I prop my stand on big books to keep the fin off the ground. Getting a case was a pain for me, tho i see jackson has a case for it now. My case is a HUGE multi guitar case with wedges. I dont want to dis this guitar, It's Great, but thats all the problems i ran into with it. It's the first guitar i've owned. Enjoy

Best So Far

By Kenny Legrow

from Espanola ON

Comments about Jackson RR3 Rhoads Electric Guitar:

I bought this guitar last april in 2008 in Crimson Swirl and so far it has been the best guitar ive ever bought. When i got it I added a heavy string dropped it to C and took it from there. This guitar hasnt let me down yet the only thing that isnt the best would be the pickups if your looking for that extra punch either get the seymore duncan blackouts or the emg's. Other than that the guitar is worth the price its amazing to look at and plays like a champ.
