I own four japanese ibanez guitars including a RG3120 which is by far one of the best guitars I ever played. However, I wanted a fixed bridge guitar in my collection. Before purchasing this guitar I tried fenders, gibsons and even a custom luthier made guitar. I felt that the RG1620 had more value and was the best choice for me. It's just like my RG3120 but with a fixed bridge. You can't go wrong with the Prestige range. Very happy with it !

Seems to be nobody here-GOOD, lets do it! This is another fine guitar from Ibanez. New pickups are great. All the high marks for Ibanez quality AND beauty apply here. A Prestige model for the flip side of the "S" & "RG" world. Same neck as the SV5470- So if you like to play caffeine fast and tear it up till you drop- here you go. Great action, and set-up was ready to tune and play. So many of the Ibanez guitars are fantastic. And this one will make a fine choice for a whole lot of people.
