Shred with the big boys.

The Ibanez Mikro GRGM21 Electric Guitar can shred with the big boys. Though smaller than standard-scale guitars, it's no toy. The Mikro is made to the same high standards as all Ibanez guitars and features the very same Powersound pickups that go into all GIO series electric guitars. Its smaller size and shorter scale make the Mikro perfect for young rockers, and it's also an ideal grown-up guitar for tour-bus songwriting or practice.

Case sold separately.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

The best beginner guitar out there

By beermooch

from Undisclosed

Comments about Ibanez GRGM21 Mikro Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar online it was playable out of the box. No sharp fret ends and pickups sound good for stock. Guitar is loud and very easy to play fun to play. I got it in white and love it finish is great no flaws. I read all reviews online before buying also played it first a year ago. I have small hands for an adult player and this is a joy to play. I can finally start really enjoying playing guitar so much fun. This is the most comfortable neck you'll find out there. The tuners are ok not that bad for stock as some people have said. Overall I highly recommend this guitar to anyone wanting to learn to play guitar adult or child.

Great Child Size Guitar

By Doug Ploucher

from Quakertown, PA

Comments about Ibanez GRGM21 Mikro Electric Guitar:

As far as child size guitars go, most of what is out there is junk. Until I found this one it's nice looking, built very well, sounds great, set up nice at the factory. My six year old has 6 guitars and by far this one is his favorite. As far as service we did have a problem with the neck warping after about a year and sent it back to Ibanez they sent us a new guitar and once again the set up was very nice, and is still my son's favorite guitar.

A Good Beginner Instrument

By Allan Ram

from Trinidad, West Indies.

Comments about Ibanez GRGM21 Mikro Electric Guitar:

This instrument was purchased for an 11 yr old beginner student of mine. I am impressed with the overall construction and design. The down-sizing is a significant advantage for someone with small hands. The tuners are sub-standard in my opinion, but then again given the low price I suppose one can hardly complain. I'd recommend this model without hesitation to any beginner student of rock/metal guitar.

Awesome beginner guitar

By Bigbagadoritos

from Washington

Comments about Ibanez GRGM21 Mikro Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar about a year and a half ago. It was the first guitar. Overall the build quality of this guitar is good, except for one major flaw, the fret bars are too large, they stick out of the neck and they are SHARP. I filed mine down so that it would be more playable. The pickups are great, and and the overall sound of the guitar is good. My friends has a fender and they sound about identical. Bottom Line: This is a good 1st guitar, but unless you really need a mini guitar (I don't) or have a small budget(like I did), get something nicer.
