Figured ash for exotic looks and powerful sound.

There are a lot of guitars to choose from. The Ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar is different. Singular in looks and sound because it's made from exotic figured ash. The grain patterns are striking. It's amazing to find an exotic wood guitar in this price range.

For faithful reproduction of acoustic tone, a B-Band UST pickup is paired with the Ibanez SRTn preamp with notch filter and an onboard tuner. Tune anytime, anywhere. You'll also be ready for whatever connections are available; the EW20ASE is equipped with balanced 1/4" and XLR outputs.

Paired with the fine wood are high-end cosmetic appointments also found on guitars costing much more: an abalone rosette, Ibanez chrome die-cast tuners and a natural high-gloss finish. If you've been holding back on an acoustic guitar purchase because you haven't found the right features at the right price, your wait is over.

Just Perfect

Comments about Ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Figured Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I got this guitar as a trade-in for my Ibanez Artcore a few years ago. I just wanted to go all out acoustic then. I didn't have time for much else. I tried all sorts of guitars in the room, but when I played this one, I knew this was just what I was looking for. Beautiful guitar, perfect tone. I've yet to have it ran through a PA. I usually just have a mic in front of the guitar. It sounds just awesome. I really can't stress that enough, and really, what else matters anyway?

You won't find a better guitar at this price!!

Comments about Ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Figured Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

This guitar looks great, sounds great and is very nice to play. There is a lot of control over EQing with seperate bass, mid and treble controls as well as a switchable pickup button & EQ filter knob. No matter what PA system you are going through you will have enough control to get a good clean acoustic sound even with the desk controls at 12 O'Clock. This guitar was designed to be used through a PA system so on its own it lacks warmth and volume, that said if you're a gigging musician looking for a great acoustic sound then, for the price, there is simply nothing to touch this guitar. You could easily spend double and still not match this guitar! I bought my Ibanez around 4 months ago and gig with it around 3-4 times a week.

Awesome Guitar!!!!!

Comments about Ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Figured Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I received this beautiful guitar and was simply amazed when I opened the box. The figured ash looked so elegant. I am a woodworker and truly appreciate a fine piece of lumber and this guitar is all that. Playing it is a dream just like my other Ibanez guitars. Action was set right from the box, low and sleek. Neck is nice and thin, even a small hand would have no problem with this guitar. Sound is what I expect from a Ibanez unplugged or plugged in. You won't go wrong purchasing this guitar.

Really sweet sounding acoustic

Comments about Ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Figured Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

I quit playing guitar a few years back and decided I wanted to start playing again. I had done a lot of research on the internet before I even walked into a guitar store and had expected to pay around $500-$700 for a nice acoustic/electric guitar. I was not planning on walking out with anything that day and really hadn't even considered Ibanez, but when I picked up this guitar, I just knew it was the one for me. It is easy to play and has an incredibly rich, warm tone that makes it hard to put down. I love the built in electronic tuner and am amazed with how well it stays in tune even after hours of play. I also like the unique design and finish, which needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Go out and play this guitar for yourself and I think you'll agree it can't be beat for the money.

Unreal value: great tone; setup is perfect; looks good!

Comments about Ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Figured Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Hard to fault anything on this super cheap guitar. Sounds very good, looks nice, plays well, good electronics, split IvorexII saddle, good tuner. 1/4 and XLR jacks. Well built. For under a grand, it is hard to beat. Much nicer than a lot of Taylors and Martins and most Gibsons. Built in China and done right. No way you'd be disappointed (I'm a picky guitar player!).

Remarkable build and perfect action; sounds fine amped and acoustic

Comments about Ibanez EW20ASE Exotic Wood Figured Ash Cutaway Acoustic-Electric Guitar:

Ash EW20ASENT; well priced and very good build. Good tuners, split saddle, good pegs, nice controls for undersaddle pickup. Action is outstanding and a great 'springy' feel. Finish is plenty sturdy, if a bit heavy, but well shot and no runs or buildup. No case and requires a deep, large case. For the money, hard to beat: handsome, plays great, very balanced and pretty acoustically, though not real loud. Very good plugged in with minimal 'quack' common to undersaddle pickups. I'd recommend it to anyone less than a pro for it's ability to have all the important things an A/E needs, except big volume. I'd like to see something beat it for quality, sound, action and price, if that guitar exists !
