Going beyond the boundaries of traditional single-cutaway guitars.
The 24 frets and longer 25” scale length neck on the ARZ307FM opens up fret space for soloing at the upper frets. The smooth neck heel provides unrivaled playability, while the rigid Tight-Tune bridge and Axis Seven 3 Pickups make the ARZ307FM ideal for today's metal players, who demand both heavy power chords and shredding solos. The AH3-7 (humbucker) neck pickup is responsive and maintains clarity. AH4-7 (humbucker) bridge pickup has balanced tone with enough power for 7 strings.

Comments about Ibanez ARZ307FM Electric Guitar:
The best thing about this guitar is the feel and look. It has already had numerous compliments and i didnt want a cliche looking 7 string. The black/blue see through finish puts it over the top. The stock humbuckers Ibanez gives are about the same as EMG HZ humbuckers but there are still better ones out there. As we all know, you always have to pay a nominal price for better pickups, but i dont find the need to just yet since they are satisfactory and a good amp can help a lot.
I do have to adjust the intonation and action of the guitar, because out of the box it was not perfect. If you dont know those two things are, then you need some research and/or probably need to take it a local guitar dealer and have them adjust it.
Although the last part i mentioned might sound like a deal breaker, but it is not. Perhaps most guitar buying online have those things to consider as it does have to travel long bumpy distances. Also, music123 was very pro and polite on the phone and not pushy. I still recommend the guitar and this online store.
