Fat sound and legendary style: the return of an icon.
When their production stopped in 1983, Hagstrom guitars became instant collectors items. For decades they maintained their market value so well that Hagstrom resumed production in 1996 to rave reviews. The Swede electric guitar is one of their most cherished models, reborn with a mahogany body, carved mahogany top, set mahogany neck, bound Resinator fretboard, and 2 Hagstrom Custom '58 humbuckers for the classic tone that made Hagstrom famous. Hagstrom's patented H-Expander truss rod prevents twisting as well as warpage. 5-ply top binding, pearl block inlays, and chrome hardware provide sharp visuals. Left-handed version.

Comments about Hagstrom Swede Left Handed Electric Guitar:
The quality and craftsmanship of my new Hagstrom Swede are outstanding. The quality of hardware on the headstock and the bridge adjustment capabilities are features I would only expect to find in a much more expensive guitar. I also love the ease at which it plays. The one completely unique feature that makes this particular guitar stand out from all the others however, is the double toggle switch configuration which gives you 9 completely different tone settings that are just a finger flick away. As a songwriter, I needed a guitar that would sound equally as good for country, metal, rock, pop, or jazz. The Hagstrom Swede is the only guitar in the world in this price range that offers this toggle switch configuration which is exactly what I needed to give me that variety of sound. I can, of course, vary the tone even further through the use of the Swede's tone control knobs and by using of a variety of hard to soft picks or even using my thumb to strum with. Add the right effects pedals to the mix and there are very few sounds that I cannot get out of my new Hagstrom Swede. If you are in the market for an inexpensive, Les Paul size guitar, you should really sit down and compare the sound of the Swede side by side with any of the other choices before you make your final decision. You won't be sorry you chose this guitar and the resale value should remain quite high just because of this one totally unique feature. It's definately the most versatile sounding, off-the-shelf, left-handed guitar you're going to find.
