This guitar is incredible. The action is fast and the neck is very smooth. It has the 60's twang but you can adjust it to get super nice blues tones too. The finish in excellent and best of all, it's much lighter than a Les Paul. I love this guitar!

I use this guitar in worship services and people from the audience have approached me saying what a great tone this guitar has. I love playing it, and it was worth much more than the price.

This Gretsch guitar has the same sound as its big brothers, great tone and sustain. When received, you will most likely to have to set up the bridge/saddle and the action. With this adjustment complete, I don't think there is a better playing guitar. Mine was a repackaged unit, great savings, but the packageing was extremely poor and with UPS rough handeling, it's a miracle it survived. That is a testament of it's good construction and design. The open tuners are unusual this day and time, but they work great. I wouldn't change a thing about this guitar. I have let several of my friends play this guitar, that are professional musicians and they agree with me, that it's a great guitar.
